Cape follows five characters who encounter a mysterious portal door while living on an unnamed cape in the southernmost region of early 16th century Africa. Through sequences of live music performance, dance, poetry, and theatre, Lamb and Ava Elizabeth Novak consider what kind of ontological reckonings indigenous lives on the cape undergo when their finistère (end of the earth) becomes a point of relay.
